AVS is a
mixed choir of all ages made up of some 40+ singers. We meet weekly on
Wednesday evenings from
We perform two concerts a year, one in the Spring and one in the Autumn. In addition we perform about ten concerts a year by invitation from churches, village halls and charities who are trying to raise much-needed funds. We also provide after-dinner entertainment, sing at weddings and perform concerts for groups just wanting a social evening.
Our repertoire of musical styles is very wide and includes show songs, oratorio, spirituals, classic pop songs, folk, opera choruses, etc. Our musical director is Adrienne Lloyd-Lucas and our Accompanist is Nicola Walker.
